when i was in the boy scouts i didn't know what gay was. later i learned about half the boys in my grammar school class turned out gay. at the ages we played , when to school and joined boy scouts i doubt they thought about sexuality. Not being in that position hard to tell. At what age do boys develop know about there sexual preferences. I think i fell in love in first grade.

Lastly, i never remember God being mentioned in boy scout meetings. I do remember steal the flag, bean bag games, study for certain merit badges, how to do first aid. etc etc.. camp out on weekends , learn to start a fire , cook and clean up . things like learning how to get along with other boys , accept responsibility, do good deeds.. oh, and learned how to smoke cigs.
