I don't think anyone should beat anyone else up over the suggestion that a body is meat. That's just such an odd concept to me. A body rots like meat. It burns like meat. It used to be a person, but once it is dead it is pretty much meat. Obviously you can argue it is more- but science is on my side, since it behaves chemically like any other meat, and if I test it, it will test like any other meat.

I'm not sure I would say I am fond of calling bodies meat, any more than I am fond of calling trees trees. It just seems to be the way things are. I can't understand getting upset with someone for seeing the world the way they see it. But there you are, I'm different.

I don't want anyone to beat you up because you don't think a body is meat. I hope no one ever would, and I wouldn't suggest any group of people would, or ought to, or that they would be at all justified in doing so.
