Regarding #2 Didn't OBL first state he had nothing to do with 9/11?
Did he? I want to see proof of that assertion.

Howard Dean said he did, but considering his idiotic, reckless disregard of the truth, I think we must consider the source.

Would it be possible he later took credit 'cause Ayman Al Zawahiri told him he would gain immense power by that?
Then both he and Ayman are idiots. And the Taliban for not turning OBL over when the US demanded him. At that point, they were warned that armed action would be the next step.

We either have to assume two or more people of very low ntelligence and sense or assume his claim is true.

Which will you take?

Here. Save you the trouble.
October 16, 2001-- An interview with Osama bin Laden was published in a Karachi-based Pakistani daily newspaper, Ummat, on September 28, 2001. In this interview, bin Laden says of the September 11 attacks in the US:

"I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.

So he disclaims connections on basically religious grounds- -then turns around and violates that very religious premise by claiming to have done it.

Is there any reason he should be granted any credibility at all?
