<<<I'm now shopping an upgrade to my office PC speakers which are aftermarket high end to begin with.>>>

I'd be interested on what set up you install. I presently have Cambridge Soundworks cubes with a floor base, cost about $150 or so a few years back. Been shopping to upgrade but have not really found anything compelling as I'd like to fill the entire room with music. It would also help to better drive my wife from the office (shhhhh) when I play some Johnny Cash. She can't stand it, but is presently able to remain in the office and work on her computer despite Johnny Cash. A better sound system might provide the perfect I want the office to myself system;) (shhh, don't tell the wife;) ).

But, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know what system you find, why you chose it, and how it works.
