Whose hopes and dreams do you get measured by?

"Increasingly I am measured by my children's hopes and dreams. My time in the sun has peaked and I am on that slope back to where I began ... nowhere."

<<<Guess the state owes Susan Smith an apology.>>>

"While that statement is potentially inflammatory, I don't see that it is particularly relevant."

Not as inflammatory as aborting disabled children because they are not "normal" and certainly it is very relevant to the issue at hand since Susan Smith's children did not fit into her hopes and dreams and all she did was to do what many woman do only a little later in the stage of Human development. Remember; my example was one child born prematurely at 24 weeks and another unborn, at full term 40 weeks. You said the difference lay in the mother’s hopes and dreams. The point is we can let parents decide what school their kids go to and where and how they will live but we don't allow parents to kill their children for the sake of convenience and we should not allow the unborn to be killed for no good reason either.
