The only solution being tried is to raise enlistment and reenlistment bonuses by tens of thousands of dollars every month or two. That ain't working so far.

Well, I have to ask : so why is the Military laying off people in Fort Worth, Texas ? I know a guy who is in the Navy, CDR rank, great chopper pilot, who will not have a job in 1 months time.

EDIT : I had the pleasure of a chopper ride with him at NASA Ames in Silicon Valley, a few years ago.
