The Drilling Manager believes we will have the rig at the Mamau location within 7 to 10 days. Management is comfortable with Hanifen's 3rd quarter production numbers of 7,985 bbls/day and 11.2 MMcf/day. The analysts are expecting a slight decrease in production for 4th quarter (from the 3rd qtr numbers) due to the reduction of 1 rig (2 currently running) in the North Giddings field. Also production from any of the other projects (Mamau, etc.) are not in the estimates and (if the new projects make good wells) the production will only be "online" for a portion of 4th quarter. The Cotton Valley 3-D seismic shoot (actual field work) is within a few days of completing. The data is in the interpretation phase. Management doesn't expect to have any information to release on the seismic until the first part of November. However, if the interpretation is completed prior, Mr. Williams has said CWEI will release the information ASAP in order to avoid "leaks & rumors". I am not aware of any of the analysts dropping coverage. It is my understanding that not all analysts send reports or update reports on all these services. As a result, it can appear that an analysts has dropped the stock. Also I have noticed (and notified other services like First Call) that only one buy recommendation will be listed when CWEI has 2 buys on the stock. These services try to get info from the analysts WHEN someone brings it to their attention but the analysts don't have to provide it. We are doing our best to maintain ongoing relationships with all the analysts following the Company (5 analysts currently). There are a couple of other firms who are looking at following CWEI. Nothing close enough to give any details of now.<<<<<
