Brian > I simply feel that you are woefully out of touch with the problems that billions of people in the world face on a daily basis for you to make that statement

I can't help the problems that millions of people in this world face on a daily basis. In fact, I don't think anyone can.

But you mentioned peace and, in my opinion, there can only be peace if everyone abides by the rule of law. After WW2, and the Nurenberg Trials, the UN was constituted as the arbiter of international law. The US was the prime mover and the first signatory to the UN Charter of nations. That is why the UN offices are in NY.

But the US has broken its contract and by its actions in Iraq has violated international law. That is why I say the government of the US should be brought to justice. Since the US is more powerful than anyone else and refuses to abide by the jurisdiction of the UN or the International Court at the Hague, there's nothing anyone can do about it. That's why I said if I was omnipotent I would do it.
