When I see people continuing to put new money into equity mutual funds, it makes me wonder if I belong to some other species. I think of the ants that started a nest in the hubcap of a car that I left parked while I was off on a trip.

But I am sure that some people compare me to low forms of life, though I hope it's not slime mold:
