Those planes were not designed to be flown at that speed at low altitude.

Kinetic energy much higher. [mv(squared)/2}. Also the calculation expected a hit near the top of the building, not an attempt to hit it like a rifle shot at a point that was deliberately chosen to try and make it collapse.

I've posted some links on Leslie Robertson. I think he handled the design aspects of the disaster well. He said and did all the right things imho.

Are you still of the opinion that the buildings were brought down by placed explosives (other then the content of the planes that crashed into them) ?
