The "quote & size " that you refer to is known in the parlance of Wall Street, as an "up book", as paradoxically as it might seem. The pros always want to go where they can do size (transactions) and there it is very comforting for them to know they can buy ( assuming a bullish posture ), and conversely, if they are bearish this up book would be very disquieting, since it would infer difficulty in unloading stock. P.S. I've been posting on MRVC on the Motley Fool Board for over a year.
