"Recent reports indicate that most of the terrorists dying in Iraq are foreign nationals. ...Civil war is a war between the citizen of a country. This has become a war between foreigners and freedom loving Iraqiis."

Sorry to bust your bubble but that most likely AIN'T SO.

The Iraqis themselves are putting out the stories that 'all' or 'most' of the insurgents are Palestinians, 'foreign' Arabs, ...Martians... *ANYONE* but their fellow 'Iraqis'.

But the US military disagrees (well over 90% of captures are locals), and the CIA disagrees... so it just seems to be a 'useful lie' to many Iraqi politicians, who would prefer to be able to blame all there troubles on strangers.

On the other-hand, it *is* true that the local Sunnis involved in the insurection are EXTREMELY WELL FUNDED AND SUPPLIED WITH ALL THE ARMS THEY CAN USE. (That much was from US military briefings over the last two months where they said that the Insurgent had access to all of the funding they could use... and that as soon as we capured or destroyed weapons, the insurgents were re-supplied. ...with *much* of this CASH coming from the Sunni's co-religionists in neighboring nations like Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Gulf States, etc.)

I'm quite convinced that --- anytime they can talk some gullible teenager in some miserable resettlement camp somewhere into being a suicide bomber --- they likely smuggle him (or her) into the area and make a boom... but the *direction* of the opposition, and the bulk of the fighting forces are Iraqi origin.

Don't kid yourself... and fall for the convenient lie... and, in the process, find yourself disagreeing with what US Military Intelligence tells us is the case.

Re: "Iranian women... Why never before?"

I don't know what you are talking about. There has been a very vibrant (and growing) liberalism movement in Iran for several years now... clearly a reaction to the over-reach, and the Totalitarian aspects of the Theocracy.
