My numbers are from talking extensively with MANY people on the battlefield of drug abuse. If you don't think my numbers are correct, I suggest you go to as many people as you would think are on the front lines in this battle, and talk to them. Understand the numbers they find to be true. Understand the problems the people who come to them are coping with. Understand the damage to the individuals who have abused drugs. Understand the damage to their families and to society in general. The numbers you will hear are from the numbers of people currently abusing drugs. The rehabs are mostly filled constantly. Our jails are full, and there seems to be many people in jails who have injured or killed others because of drug abuse and the violence it can create. BTW, as an aside, while I was looking at a news link a couple of days ago, I ran across an article on "meth mouth"....I hadn't seen that term before, so looked up the article. Lord, I'm sorry I did. nytimes.com whig.com
