I don't believe to appease anyone on this Earth. I don't care what anyone on this Earth thinks about me believing. What do you think they will do? Go take back all the Bibles and brainwash us to believe their way? Faith is a very personal journey. They can't change that. Nor can they change the circumstances of why I decided to believe in the first place. A preacher on TV don't influence me at all. Do you think people are so easily influenced?
I do think that what you present about Christ based leaders and their wishes and the direction they would take this country are wrong, mis-informed, erroneous, your spin on others intentions, half thought out, Dem talking points, and not close to true.
Schiavo got screwed up when it became public and everyone suddenly had an opinion and a judge was forced to make an order. That's a precedent. That's bad. It was the wrong message.
I, for one, don't believe Robertson or Dobson are half as strong as you attribute to them. People vote what their research, feelings, how statements by the candidates resonate within them. People don't vote how someone tells them to.
If I am faced with 2 candidates, equally qualified. I like both, have met both, (I did have our State rep in my house so I do meet them), and I cannot decide, then I go issue by issue and see where they stand. If their stance on an issue important to me is unclear, I will go to outside agencies for input. Otherwise, I write to them and ask their position. That is about the only time an outside influence will make a difference for my voting. I think most people are like that is my point.
Your side constantly referring to repubs as sheep is an arrogant attitude and insult on your part. Kerry sucked as a candidate. He would have sucked as a President. Bush is a far cry from the best, but I thought he was better than Kerry. I would have been interested in hearing Dean. Of course now that he is a rabid pit bull for the Dems, he is worthless.
I hope your side puts up a decent candidate with a message this time. Otherwise, you will lose again. Your attitude and AS's attitude are the reason why. I am that voter who despises a message delivered like you deliver it. I can easily learn to hate the message and the deliverer and the deliverer's party. With your rabid attitude, nonsensical, hysterical posts, smoky, shady "facts" and constant spin and second guessing and Monday morning Qbacking, people get tired of your crap, think you are full of crap and tune you out. Believe me, it is all in your chosen method of presentation too. It is endemic to your party. They all do it all Sunday morning long on TV. You(they) think you are right, you think you know what is best for others because it is what you believe, you ignore laws when they don't make you happy, you lie, skirt issues, and in general are not the least bit of what a good leader should be and these are the type of people you put forth to lead the US. People in the US see this, they know this and the votes show their choice. You lose.
This is how I see your party and I bet I am not remotely alone with this viewpoint. You are not viewed favorably at all. It is all because of your negative messages, method of delivery, bluster, hatred, double standards, etc. I could go on, but I am sure you have either quit reading, or quit listening if you are still reading.
