The old good old boy world is getting dead. Those of us like me who went nuts working for women with way different managemnt styles way back when have now gotten used to this and even can see the value. The first women in business were too old fashioned, too weak, too stressed out by details. Now it is different and women managers are terrific in middle and upper management with a new consensus building/cooperative styles of management. Given the political nightmare of polarization over the last 20 years, it would be nice if women continue to gain influence in the public sector as well. When my daughter was born in 1972, i told her that everything was possible. I was early but i will tell my granddaughter this and it is true now.
