Tom, for all practical purposes I don,t trade options, anymore; used to big time. Commissions were eating me up, and like you said, executions are awful. Those Chicago boys are worse than a strong armed robber. I use them more now as a tool that tells me a lot about EXPECTATIONS. I was scanning the Corel options this morning and that "spread"???? just hit me, IMHO I feel that the puts and calls both are underpriced, especially the calls. If we get a move above the 200 day MA I might buy the calls. I was just recently approved for the naked puts in my on line brokerage account so I would also sell the Jan 10 puts also. I don't know if that is a "spread or straddle" and could really care less what it is...I just know what I want to do and just do it........gregor
