That's a major advantage. <<Farm country. People who burn their garbage don't care.>> We had to burn right next to the liberal hotbed of Oregon, Portland. Air quality was a real issue. We tried to keep a good column up so the smoke would disperse in the upper atmosphere. It was better for us if our smoke went east over to Bend, since the population over there is smaller.

Also, some of them became annoyed when their bootleg pot farms got singed.
