I run my eMachines M6809 (15.4") at 1280 x 800, but 1024 x 768 should be OK for my daughter. I presume that it can be set to a higher resolution, but is it less sharp then if it were native, or slower (or both)? Would it be better off at 1280 x 1024, or the native 1024 x 768?
