Hi geode00; Re: "Every single step in this illegal war has been thoroughly messed up. Now, this is the best we can expect?" What would you prefer? As far as I can tell, there are no mainstream politicians asking for us to withdraw. There were some Democratic candidates last election that were insisting that we send more troops. There were other Democrats arguing for a return to the draft. Heck, Iraq is bigger than Vietnam, where 500,000 soldiers wasn't enough, so maybe what we really need to do is to dig up the ghost of Lyndon Johnson and send a few million troops over. -- Carl
