re: It highlights the fact that the president of the US had decided to go to war while he was telling the country that war was his last resort and while he was making mockery of the UN process...therein lies the integrity and lawlessness of the matter. And more importantly, he was lying to Congress, and it's Congresses constitutional responsibility to "declare" war (although we don't seem to need to do that anymore). Is lying to Congress to promote a war technically illegal? I don't know. Perjury? He wasn't under oath. John
