Globelle To Distribute OpenROUTE Networks Remote Access Products In Canadian Marketplace

TORONTO, Sept 8 /PRNewswire/ -- OpenROUTE(R) Networks, Inc., a leading provider of Remote Access routers for Internet and Intranet connectivity, today announced that Globelle Corporation of Mississauga, Ontario will distribute OpenROUTE Networks' full line of GlobeTrotter (GT) products throughout the Canadian marketplace. OpenROUTE Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Proteon, Inc. PTON .

Under terms of the new distribution agreement, Globelle will carry OpenROUTE Networks' broad line of GT Remote Access routers which include products for all types of LAN and WAN links. OpenROUTE Networks' product suite includes more than 20 models for dial-up, leased line, Frame Relay, ISDN and T1/E1 connections. Products support IP, IPX, AppleTalk and multiprotocol environments, including a number of models with integrated firewall security.
