A trojan horse virus and a number of adware programs were recently downloaded to my computer. I'm in the final stages (I hope) of getting rid of them. I have Windows XP Home. I just ran msconfig (the system configuration utility) and clicked on the startup tab to see what programs were being called to load at startup. My idea is to uncheck the programs so they are not called to start. I was able to identify all of the programs except one by typing the file name into Google and searching on the internet.

However, the one program I haven't been able to identify is listed on the startup tab as "rydbep.exe r". When I search the web for that file name I come up empty.

Any thoughts? Can I uncheck the rydbep.exe r file, so it doesn't get called for at startup?

Thanks,

I2
