What we really need to do is to recognize as a nation that the greatest threat we face to our way of life is the U.S. military.

Americans must be made to understand that the militarism that destroyed Japan and Germany in World War II is not becoming U.S. national policy, and that this must end in tragedy.

As long as there are madmen in charge who write about "full spectrum dominance" and a "Pax Americana", we will not be safe.

Andrew Bacevich, a very thoughtful intellectual who graduated from West Point and who recently wrote "The New American Militarism" tinyurl.com is on the record saying that we ought to consider eliminating the national military academies (West Point, Annapolis and Colorado Springs) and educate our next generations of military officers in ROTC programs on civilian campuses. I see a lot of merit to this. I feel that the national academies are right now being infiltrated by deceitful right wing ideologues who are producing a demented, brainwashed officer class who will stop at nothing when it comes to destroying the American way of life in favor of their own sick militarized vision of a police state Hell spreading across the planet.

This sickness must be rooted out and ended.
