There is a record that he was paid, which implies Alabama notified Texas that he was there. If that doesn't count as a record for you, so be it, because the fact is that the absence of a record will never logically prove the absence of the man, particularly when Alabama admits they didn't make records for those in Bush's position, as he wasn't assigned to the Alabama outfit. Alabama just notified his Texas outfit to pay him for showing. This is meaningful and credible evidence, IMO, and if you think there is credible evidence that would prove he wasn't there, you've not shown it, and I can't imagine you ever will. You've produced nothing that would make his alleged absence "obvious," whereas the records we DO have indicate he MUST have been there, and the visit to a dentist is actually corroborative of his presence. Here you have a guy who, prior to the time you bring to question, did far more than required of him, and without an iota of real evidence, you ask us to believe he suddenly became a liar to evade serving some weekends. You ought to be kidding.
