You jogged my memory, about sewing it shut.. I think he might have said that too. But it was a young 'tight' heifer and we always thought it was too young to breed them to calve before they were before 2.5 or so. They were range cattle and we didn't want troubles. There was less trouble with older mothers we didn't see for months on the free range.. BTW, My Dad used to do that stuff too. Turning calves around in the womb and such.. And I helped a little

But the point I was really making, and I think you understand too, being around animals, like you have, that the animals have a relationship with people too.
