I think it is more likely fallout of the IBM announcement to drop it's NETPC efforts due to lack of projected profitable market. People will read this as a statement on the NC and punish NC proponents.

Maybe it's me, but I look askance at self-proclaimed guru's who want you to pay hundreds of dollars to read their research and conclusions. There are a few who lurk and are quoted here on the SUN thread.
