Thanks thecow. That's an interesting little utility. I ran it on my machine and didn't find rydbep.exe running. As a matter of fact, everything that was running looked OK.

I don't know why it's showing up on the Microsoft Configuration Utility startup tab, but I can't find the file in the Windows\System32 directory and the utility you linked me to couldn't find it either.
