Ted, She died in 1990. Why won't you accept that fact?

Now YOU are trying to have it both ways.

- She's dead, but she's still married to Michael, even though marriage is "until death do us part."

She was still married to her husband because her parents stopped his attempts to have the feeding tube removed and she declared legally dead. It doesn't take a psychologist to figure out the Schindler family is really screwed up and not just by the event of her collapse and subsequent death.

- She's a vegetable, but her husband is trying to end her suffering, even though it's hard to imagine a vegetable "suffering."

He wasn't trying to end her suffering.....he was trying to end the charade that she could be revived. A vegetable can't suffer.

- She's dead, but after her feeding tube is pulled, she dies a "second death."

A person who is brain dead but whose body is kept 'alive' by artificial means is not alive in the normal sense of the word.

In fact, that is happening right now to a 26 year old woman who was pregnant. About two months ago, she was diagnosed with an advanced case of cancer and died last week. She was declared legally dead but her body is being kept 'alive' artificially so that the baby can get to 26 weeks and then will be delivered by Caesarean.

My logic isn't nearly as flexible as yours. I guess you win.

Your's isn't logic.
