Sam,

When a stock approaches 10 times sales and a 70 PE, it must expect an adverse reaction to "a new development" which causes a analyst's meeting to be missed. I am surprised you used "value" in your sentence. Also, considering the relative valuations, is it appropriate to refer to SVGI and ASMLF in the same sentence?

My thoughts about Cymer are that they command a relatively slow growing market. When everyone is producing DUV step and scan tools, the backlog could approach 24 months and the annual numbers could be almost constant. I would think the number would be about 1000 and the comnputations could easily be done for Cymer's bottom line. I suspect the current price might discount a great deal of the future potential.

Cary
