That is one of greg or e's red herrings--although I suspect you did not intend it as such. The question is not how much human dna is involved or if the genes are whole, damaged, or missing, or how big the zygote or fetus is. The question is one of human rights which society grants when the fetus is born and becomes a LEGAL person. Rights suppose the capacity to pursue choices as to life, liberty, and happiness. Neither a brain dead person nor a fetus have the capacity to make such choices. They have no rights. Society may still (however) have an interest in how they are treated.
