Please don't take this the wrong way, but, sir, don't tell me on what basis what I can and can not argue.

That said, I really don't know what this "ensoulment basis" is and I think you missed my point anyway, which was really that you are still making an arbitrary decision as to the point where a fetus becomes a person with rights. Society has to decide what arbitrary point it wants to go by and there will always be people who think we should pick a different one. I, personally, don't think there is any one, absolute, correct point that could be proven scientifically or otherwise.

The matter of any potential conflict of rights between mother and child (or fetus or whatever) is a wholly separate thing. The laws weigh conflicting rights all the time. It is not logical to argue that the child can not have rights because they can not be separated from those of the mother or that they can't exist because they may conflict.
