I don't have specific information about J&J's targets, but an article in Individual Investor mentioned that one of their main growth initiatives is to look for acquisitions that will help them conquer foreign markets.

I think it's good that Luken's is concentrating on foreign markets, because in the US low prices won't lure business away from the big boys. Hospitals are increasingly looking for a "one stop shop" for their disposables and J&J certainly aims to provide that.
