Lindy, I am happy to read that you attribute the Smoot-Hawley tariff with the depression and high unemployment. Similarly, as show by the Bureau of Labor Statistics graph below, I attribute the inauguration of GW to an isolated America.

Kicking but, has it consequences. As a county at war, we have far fewer trading partners, and all-the -while our government employs the military and defense contractors (to manipulate the unemployment number) through deficit spending. You see, Bush has effectively shut down free trade with military occupation of the oil production center of the world.

We don’t need no stinkin’ tariff!!!
