JC, Like i said earlier. There is a move to the middle. Conservatvies on shiavvo and discarded stem cells look dumb while 1984 type see no evil, hear no evil rhetoric on iraq is angering formerly pro-war folks. For the dems, i have no idea why they do this regarding guantanimo and amnesty international bs. Nor do i have any clue as to why they insult all republicans and indirectly moderates and independents thru their new mouthpiece Howie Dean. If one party nominates a moderate, they win. If both do, its a horse race. If neither do watch for a third party led by mccain, giuliani and more calm zel miller dems who just wont be able to go along with a candidate spewing venom about this country. My early prediction is that the left dems will be emboldened after picking up seats in 06 and pick someone of the dean/kerry stripe. Wide open for a republican rout if they take advantage of it and to take advantage properly you certainly need someone less beholding to the christian right on those two issues i mentioned above.
