Terri Schiavo exposed Delay, Frist, the Bushes, Santorum and other rightwing Republicans all as complete hypocritical, ingenuous, pandering extremists with no respect for science, medicine, personal privacy, states rights, common sense or concern for the integrity of our government, legal system or responsible use of their power.
When they called Schiavo's husband's decision "murder" they were, in effect, calling every family in American "murderers" because any one of us could someday be in Michael Schiavo's position, and we all know we'd do the same thing he did, and that it would be the right, loving and ethical thing to do.
When they sided with the extremist nuts calling for death to our judges (even conservative ones) they exposed themselves as being reckless, irresponsible and not fit to be leaders. |
