Did the White House castigate Santorum for his similar remarks? No. Anyway, remarks are remarks. The actions of this administration are the real problem, and they themnselves are the ones directly responsible for Abu Graiab and the whole controversy. Interesting how the White House and rightwing propaganda machine always attacks anyone who criticizes it, but never take responsibility, hold anyone acccountable or even admit their lies and errors. Not a single Bushie has been fired for Abu Graib, the outing of Plame, WMD's lies, Terri Schiavo, over-spending, the Halliburton corruption, the Delay corruption, nothing. These attacks are nothing but more cover-ups. Durbin is not the issue, the White House's own malfeaceance is.
