I believe it's Ford that's actually losing money for every single car it sells... for how long can they sustain that?


Actually, Ford has made a profit for the last 5 quarters although its possible that their other businesses are offsetting the losses in their cars. However, in the past, there has been a distinction between cars and pickups with Ford losing money on their cars but making money on their pick ups. Same with GM. Is that what you've read?

As for the financial status of each........overall, I think GM has had more profits but I think their pension fund deficits are much bigger.
