This line points out that the Chinese Government is trying use Fascism as a way to control.
As a capitalist, what really disgusts me about China today is that they pretend that corrupt crony "capitalism" is actually capitalism, not just a sham, and that the vicious use of bribed government officials and government thugs to rob, steal, kill, maim, and destroy with impunity is the real face of capitalism.
The rabid nationalism, compared to the above, is just result of grabbing the less intelligent by their emotions. It works here, too. It works everywhere. It's a sure thing.
But bribing government officials so that you can rob, steal, kill, maim and destroy the people that government is supposed to protect -- and getting away with it -- that takes depravity and cynicism that's hard to beat.
And on the scale of China, it's fascism, too.
But as the icing on the cake and the cherry on top -- then they prosecute the people for trying to protect themselves with bamboo sticks and farm tools.
The corruption is on such a grand scale that it's actually breathtaking, like being punched in the solar plexus. |
