Everything in this case is a matter of public record.

Note that only a partial injunction was issued. However; the officers and directors were not arrested until one month after this injunction. I would venture to guess that if the judge knew about the arrests, he would have had even less sympathy for Avant.

Cadenece is now pursuing a full injunction. It looks like the criminal case is airtight. There is absolutely no doubt that Avant stole and used Cadence's database and code.

Justice works slowly, but it will eventually sort this matter out. The stock price will eventually reflect what this company is really worth - zero. Remember, sometimes it takes a while to sort these scams out. There are a lot of true believers out there who will delude themselves to the bitter end. If you don't believe me, then check out the Solv-ex thread.

I can't quite figure out what impact the lack of sales on the affected products will be in the short term. Quite frankly, I don't trust Avant's numbers anyway. It is clear that they are now scrambling to patch up the damage by issuing shrill PR about mysterious "contracts" with unnamed companies. Today's all-stock purchase of TMAI was silly, and really not a very good deal for Avant shareholders since they overpaid by at least $60 million.

The Avant executives can play all the games they want, but ultimately they will pay for their crimes - just like all thieving, unethical scumbags. Unfortunately, they will also end up hurting lots of shareholders and innocent employees.
