I'd be skeptical of any study that suggested that drivers stoned on marijuana are less likely to cause an accident than even drug-free drivers, wouldn't you? You're quite right that the source is biased. As for the deer, I'll rephrase the question. Are you confident enough in your belief that marijuana smokers don't kill with their driving that you'd be comfortable seeing some creature you cherish directly in the path of such a driver? Maybe you would. I know I wouldn't.
