I think the problem mainly lies in the boards of education and with the state, for not having a clear vision (or any vision) regarding this area of education.

Someone best start focusing on the issue - the need for plumbers, electricians, carpenters and sheet metal workers, among others, is not going away.

I make sure I maintain a good relationship with my plumber (the company is owned by a woman, by the way). When you have an emergency and need a plumber, it's always nice to have them come right over when you call.
