I hope they do. I don't know why it hasn't happened already. 5 or 6 years ago, when one of our board of education members was running, he talked about it all the time, and I hoped he might start something of a groundswell, but nothing happened. I think it might take some sort of crisis to get it jump started. When the governor can't find someone to tile his bathroom, maybe THEN we'll see some action. It seems like people are more crisis driven than planning driven. I prefer to avoid crises, myself, but maybe that's just a quirk of one's personality. It sure makes life frustrating though. It's analogous to living with people who are always LATE. I can't stand that. I'm always early. So when I deal with people who are late, I end up waiting a very long time indeed.
