no doubt.... there will be the "rules lovers" with little imagination that allowing (given the extraordinary circumstances) Michelin to run the newly shipped tire would solve the problem... claiming that.... will express with the solemnity of an ancient sacerdotal shithead.... "it is in the rules"... HOWEVER..... it is the idiocy of excess rules (such as the existing tire rule) that is the REAL problem originating this charade... and indeed... the reason Kimi Raikkonen could have killed himself in the European GP (at the Nuerburgring) because he was not allowed to change a tire (after his mistake flat-spotting the tire)... so... if the rule says... you can only change the tire in case of 'extreme danger resulting in an undue lack of safety' WHEN do you deem a tire that the entire world knows that a flat spotted tire WILL become a safety hazard ? when you have the driver killed as Kimi could have been when the suspention collapsed as a result of the vibration ? or... if the carcass of a tire is failing at high speed and the manufacturer cannot determine its cause (therefore going to a harder compound as Michelin was attempting to do... WHY, WHY..... OH FUCKING WHY..... the bureaucrats (i.e. rule-lovers) are allowed to interfere in the first place.... ah the lack of wisdom of the non-radicals against IDIOTS (i.e. BURRO-CRATS) piss on them rule-lovers... jesus h. christ i can't stand these arseholes....
