Richard.. my gut feeling on todays action is this.. I've seen this type of IPM action before, it's getting to be very repetitive.
If the day starts off with some sells, the shorts get in on it and with the selling can easily drive the price down. As it drops, more get nervous and more sell. Even tho we hit about 350M shares today, I really think only a small percentage were true sells. The rest were shorts. Reason...
If it was all selling, the stock would have tanked even more. Who's buying all this stock? I don't think buyers are sitting out there waiting to crop this stock up. If they were really waiting to buy, they would have waited some more and let it drop out of bed.
If there were actually 350M shares bought today, for the real reason to buy the stock and make money, we'd be up or even. No, my gut tells me the shorts are f****n arround with this stock again and causing small panics.
We closed 5/16, up from the low of 2/16. - denis
