I think the American people are more and more starting to favor a pullout or at least a timetable for a pullout in Iraq. It would seem to me the US should designate a time table for a pull out, and a simultaneous entrance of a UN stabilization force. The UN can object to the invasion on obvious grounds, but if the UN is not willing to play the nation building role in today's Iraq that they play in Kosovo and other unstable regions, what in the world is the UN's function?
