It WASN'T a slander of our military.

It was simply a recognition of how HIDEOUSLY "some" prisoners have been treated in our overseas military prisons.

Have you READ about how "some" prisoners in Afghanistan were TORTURED to DEATH?

Durbin didn't say those soldiers were nazis or gulag guards, he just said that if you read about their tactics you WOULDN'T think they were American soldiers.

I wouldn't want to think they were American soldiers either.
