no telling what the quality of hospital or nursing home. the training and cleanness of nurses, aids, etc. Most times an infection coming from something in the hospital is worse than the procedure you went for. next concern would be quality of doctors , background experience, and how they practice , under what conditions.

I expect if you move to a retirement area , your local doctor office may be great. but if you need to go to a local hospital in Mexico it may be a death wish.
