Do you use Safari for the Mac? Great browser, the most stable and accurate that I've seen. The Acer notebook is hard to beat, good choice. As Microsoft's OSs close the gap with OS X, Apple is going to continue losing market share, I think. XP Pro is comparable to OS X, probably the first MS OS that can be compared, IMHO. Apple will continue as a niche player for graphics and publishing.
