SkyNetGlobal Forms Home Media Software Pact With AMD DOW JONES NEWSWIRES June 20, 2005 LONDON -- SkyNetGlobal said Monday that it has formed a partnership on home media software with US-based AMD, a microprocessor design and manufacturing company. The company said optimisations made for AMD64 technology will be embedded in "ShowShifter," SkyNetGlobal's version of digital home media software. ShowShifter was developed in the U.K. by Home Media Networks Ltd, which was acquired by SkyNetGlobal in April. Home Media Networks will be developing a high-end version of ShowShifter that is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2005 and will include new advanced features. ShowShifter allows users to watch, record and time-shift (pause) TV, play DVDs, CDs and MP3 music files all through one interface. ....... Regards, Rink
