You posted the change in the consensus recommendation (according to whoever compiles your data, and they may not have access to all analysts), whereas I posted a change in earnings estimates by one anayst. The two are very different indicators. Changes in earnings estimates tend to be more meaningful predictors of changes in stock prices. Though changes in recommendations are significant. So, indeed, you report bad news, unfortuantely. Happy Investing! Vanni
